his band Mumbai Stamp, a performance by Bengal drummers among others. The final performance revisited the first ever Memorial Concert featuring the dynamic santoor maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, ghatam maestro Viku Vinayakram and Ustad Zakir Hussain.

First Crush taken at the Four Seasons Winery
Baramati
27th March 2008

United Spirits Limited recently launched its first Indian made wine – Zinzi, under the banner of FOUR SEASONS WINES LIMITED – a Joint Venture between USL and the local farmers of Baramati, near Pune. The company is in the process of setting up a state-of-the-art winery at Baramati, which is now ready to take up its first ever “harvest” of the 2008 vintage.

Built over a plot of around 300 acres (including the land cultivated by local farmers) , this winery will easily be India 's best winery with eco-friendly features and tourism friendly aspects. Modeled on a French chateau style, the winery will house 16 suites, a large deck that can accommodate 1000 people, a swimming pool & also a special wine tasting room. All the critical plant and equipment, including crushing and bottling lines have been imported from Italy to ensure hygiene and quality of international standards.

The Winery will be ready in all aspects by October 2008 and will release some of the finest wines made from the varieties of grapes, grown in Sahayadri valley of Maharashtra . Though the crushing started this month in the presence of Dr. Vijay Mallya & Mr. Sharad Pawar, bottling will begin only from the month of May 2008.
