Few days back I was given a bottle of Four Seasons Viognier wine (a type of white wine) and asked to review it. I am a totally non wine drinker and pairing Wine with food comes a bit unnatural to me. I have always known Wine to be paired with non vegetarian and non Indian food. Last week I had a pleasure of attending an invitation only, formal sit-down gourmet evening with Michelin Star French chef Baptiste. A joint initiative by Four seasons wine and ITC Maurya Delhi, this event was a delight with just right food and selection of some excellent wines from four seasons and Bouvet-Ladbay. Chef Baptiste is one of the young French chefs who was awarded Michelin star in 2011 and has the fortune of having worked with 3 star Michelin chefs and likes of Guy Savoy, Alain Passard to name a few.
