Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the most famous AOC in the southern Rhône wine region and boasts one of the most picturesque landscapes of the area. It permits thirteen different varieties of grape in its wines of which Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah are predominant, resulting in powerful, richly coloured wines with a unique rustic appeal .
The Wine Selection
- Chardonnay Beautiful light yellow colour, bright and limpid. Warm nose with a note of citrus fruits, then complex with amber accents of honey and toasted bread.
- Merlot Very dark red, limpid and bright. A nose that is spicy with pepper accents and notes of strawberry. Palate that is soft and fleshy with elegant tannins. Intense flavors of red fruits finishing long with notes of vanilla.
- Beaujolais Ruby red with bluish tints. Limpid. An open and expressive nose, predominantly fruity (cherries, gooseberries, plums). A supple and distinctive palate, elegant and smooth with a very subtle flowery finish.
